Photography Studies Club with Kristie Kahns

A casual monthly gathering hosted by Kristie Kahns for photobook enthusiasts, artists, and observers of visual culture. Each session presents a curated selection of books for discussion with suggested readings of current scholarship, viewing monographic publications, exhibition catalogues, and edited volumes about the history and theory of photography to examine narrative form, production qualities, curatorial themes, and resonances across different artists' practices. Guest speakers and facilitators add distinct perspectives each month. Refreshments will be served. Free to attend in person at Filter Space, 1821 W Hubbard St, Suite 207, RSVP required. Registered attendees receive links to suggested readings prior to each meeting. Tickets required.
