Writing & Performing the 2-Minute Play: Intro Level

8-week introductory class exploring honesty, brevity, and transformation to create short original two-minute plays in the Neo-Futurist non-illusory aesthetic. Games and exercises, weekly writing assignments and in-class workshops, specific play formulas and styles. Second half follows the weekly creative process to pitch, rehearse and perform a menu of original two-minute plays in a culminating show open to the public on our stage. Taught by ensemble members aussie b and Nakiyah T.M. Jordan. $300 for an 8-week course. No class on October 12th. Final two classes November 9th and November 16th run four hours 6:30PM-10:30PM. Students required to wear masks while in the building.
