Translucent Wax Workshop

Hands-on encaustic painting workshop with visual artist Candace Law exploring transparent colors and thinned-out layers to build depth and luminosity, especially with photo images, collage materials and embedded ephemera. Demonstrations combined with ample time for independent work and one-on-one assistance. For artists at every level, newcomers welcome. Equipment, supplies, encaustic paints and many materials provided. Bring small personal items such as decorative papers and other ephemera. $175 early-bird if registered by October 23, $195 for later registrations.
