The Shakespeare Project of Chicago comes for one night only for a theatrical reading with music of Dear Rhoda by David Ranney and Donna Russell, adapted by Peter Garino. In 1920s Chicago, Jerry and Rhoda meet at the Dil Pickle Club, a bohemian haven for artists, radicals, and free thinkers. Inspired by real-life letters of Chicago bookseller Jerry Nedwick and featuring Carl Sandburg, Clarence Darrow, and Fanny Brice. Co-sponsored by Glessner House and the Edgar Miller Legacy. Free admission, but advance registration required as space is limited.
