Colored Girls for Colored Girls—Evolution of Expression

Flagship visual arts contribution to the 50th anniversary commemoration of for colored girls who have considered suicide / when the rainbow is enuf, presented in collaboration with the Ntozake Shange Trust. Honors the enduring cultural, artistic and political impact of Ntozake Shange's groundbreaking choreopoem while celebrating the voices, creativity and lived experiences of Black women across generations through exhibitions, performances, literary programs and community gatherings.
