Look through the largest publicly available telescope in Chicago to see planets, moons, stars and more, even in Chicago's light-polluted skies. Telescope gathers over 7,000 times more light than the unaided human eye to see celestial objects trillions of miles away. Weather permitting. Check back or get updates to confirm open public hours 1-2 days before observation events. Depending on crowd size and/or weather, line entry may close before 10:00 pm, so arrive early. Audience 12+ years old.
