Three thousand years ago, a king inscribed his victories in stone — scholars are only now understanding his power. Seven years ago, Hartapu was little more than a name. In 2019, an inscribed stone pulled from an irrigation canal in central Türkiye introduced the world to a king who claimed to have conquered. Special exhibition in the Marshall and Doris Holleb Family Gallery for Special Exhibits. Museum admission required.
