First solo show with Chicago-based artist Olivia Zubko. Ceramic sculptures made from cast replicas of fixtures and found materials from private and domestic environments. Cast porcelain dumbbells, single-use sheet masks swirling around a basin, orthopedic pillow as fleshy corporeal fragment. Works recast modest artifacts as mythological bathing nymphs, focusing on the negative space around the bather. Nymphaeum translated into an intimate bathroom and locker room space of daily rituals and self-care. Gallery One.
